Meet Our Chiropractors
Dr Carly Digney
Chiropractor | Owner
Carly completed her Chiropractic studies at Murdoch University in Western Australia before returning to Adelaide in 2008 and purchasing Chiropractic First Strathalbyn. During the following 6 years, she had a vision of creating a family friendly Chiropractic Centre in Hahndorf that focused on creating a space for peoples health to thrive with high-quality, patient-centered Chiropractic Care. She has a special interest in supporting families, babies, and athletes. Along this journey, she has welcomed Dr Jessica Peake to join her in owning Chiropractic First. Dr Carly and Dr Jess work as a great Duo together, striving to create the best family orientated, patient-centered Chiropractic Centre in the Adelaide Hills.
Carly lives with her four kids and husband in Hahndorf. When she’s not at work you’ll find her running around after her four kids, cheering them on at sport or helping run the pony club.
Dr Jessica Peake
Chiropractor | Owner
Before becoming a Chiropractor Jess studied International Politics and had a dream to work in Foreign Affairs. She found that Chiropractic was such a strong passion that she decided to pursue this by moving to New Zealand to get her degree.
After working as a much loved associate for Chiropractic First, Dr Jess bought into the business in 2021 and has been a valuable addition to the "Boss Team". Carly and Jess work really well together, striving to create the best family orientated, patient-centered Chiropractic Centre in the Adelaide Hills.
Jess has 2 young Children and is passionate about working with pregnant ladies, children and families. In her spare time, she can be found walking on the beach with her children and Border Collie Cooper.
Dr Devon Keys
Chiropractor
Devon moved from her hometown of Ontario Canada to New Zealand to study Chiropractic. After initially moving home to Canada to take over her family's Chiropractic Clinic she made the decision to move to Adelaide with her partner, Sean, and 3 children. Devon has many years experience working as an animal chiropractor as well as a special interest in babies and athletes. Devon uses mainly Manual adjustments and is perfect if you find you need a stronger adjustment.
Get to know Devon... One thing people are surprised to know about Devon is that she is actually a really good Figure Skater and enjoys being on the ice. If devon had a completely free weekend and unlimited money she would fly all her family to one location to spend some qaulity time together without any interuption or distance getting in the way. Devon would love to instantly master Calisthenics or gymnastics as she thinks it would be a fun skill to have. If she wasn’t a Chiropractor Devon would be a Homesteding Mum and living her best life on some farm land with her family. One thing on her bucket list is to complete an Ironman race.

Dr Charlotte Linklater
Chiropractor
Charlotte studied at the New Zealand Chiropractic College. She has a passion for wellness and health, and enjoys seeing her community living life to the full. As a mum, she especially enjoys working with babies, children, and pregnant women.
Get to know Charlotte... people are surprised to know that Charlotte used to have her gun licence in New Zealand and was pretty good at clay bird shooting. If Charlotte had a free weekend and unlimited money she would take a private jet to the champagne houses in France. If Charlotte’s chickens could talk they’d probably ask for more scraps and to tell her to stop letting teh kids pick them up all the time. If she could master any skill Charlotte would love to be a gymnastics star. If she wasn’t a Chiropractor Charlotte would be a wedding planner helping people have their perfect day! One thing on Charlotts bucket list is to take a hot air balloon ride over Tuscany.

Dr Judy Marriott
Chiropractor
Judy grew up in Alice Springs and studied Chiropractic at Murchoch University in Western Australia. She has worked in Brisbane and New Zealand, before settling in the Adelaide Hills. Judy loves manual adjusting and working with specific muscular problems, using a technique called 'Graston technique'. She has 2 children, Wyatt and Violet and loves working with all ages.
Get to know Judy... People are surprised to know that Judy is amazing at sewing and makes alot of her own clothes and clothes for her children, she is yet to make something for her husband though. If Judy had unlimited money and a free weekend she would take all her extended family on a long weekend cruise somewhere. If Judy’s dog could talk they would say that “she gives the best cuddles, but she’s not always the one to remember to feed me” oops... If Judy could master any skill instantly it would be the ability to make patterns for clothes to help her continue to create beautiful clothes for her family and friends. If Judy wasn’t a Chiropractor she would love to be an Indie pattern designer or own a small sustainable fasion label. One thing on Judy’s bucket list is to stay in a tiny home for a few days as she is facinated by how cozy they look.

Dr Derek Silva
Chiropractor
Originally from Canada, Derek studied at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and specializes in ABC, SOT, and upper cervical techniques. Derek is a neurostructural-focused chiropractor dedicated to helping stressed parents and their families achieve the life they want with the confidence and resources to do so. With over a decade of experience, he previously co-owned a practice with his wife, Caroline, and now brings his expertise to Chiropractic First.
Get to Know Derek... People aere surprised to know that Derek was his highschool’s prom King His senior year. If Derek had unlimited money and a free weekend he would go to all the best Cafes and resturants in any location, eating all their delicious food and trying all kinds of coffee before exploring the area and all of its hidden little spaces. If Derek could master any skill it would be to make anything he wanted from limited ingredients. If he wasn’t a Chiropractor Derek would own his own funky little cafe with the best coffee in Australia. One thing on Derek's bucket list is to visit every continent and adventure the world with his family.

Get to know Karla... People are surprised to know that Karla was in the Airforce Cadets as a teenager and wanted to be a Fighter Pilot . If she had unlimited money and a completely free weekend Karla would island hop through the French Polynesian islands, eat, drink and snorkel not forgetting to stop and get massages as well. If Karla’s pets could talk they would say “You’re all leaving the house again! You better have a good bone to give me, even though I’ll adore you anyway”. If Karla could master any skill she would love to be able to play the acoustic guitar like pro musician. If she wasn’t a CA Karla would be a Contiki Guide and take people on the best holidays in the world. Karla would love to go to Borneo and hang at the Orangutang Orphanage & stay in a igloo under the Northern Lights and tick both those adventures off of her bucket list.

Get to Know Therese... One thing everyone is surprise to know is that Therese is 50 (She doesn’t look a day over 30) If she had a completely free weekend and unlimited money Therese would take her family to the F1 racing, visit a day spa for some pampering and then pop to Belgium for a trip with all the trimmings. If Therese’s dog could talk they would mention ‘The Selfie’ IYKYK :). If Therese could master and skill instantly and if she wasn’t a CA Therese would love to be An F1 Race Car Driver and really up her Cool Mum status. Therese hopes to tick taking her family on an F1 racing trip off her bucket list one day.

Belle

Get to Know Belle... People are often surprised to know that Belle lived and worked on a cattle station for 2 years as a Governess (Ask her about it she could talk for hours!). If she had unlimited money and a free weekend Belle would love to see a live ballet with her sisters, go line dancing and finish up the weekend with a nice dinner with all her favourtie people. Belle would love to be able to master any dance step without practicing especially when learning new line dances or Ballet exams. If Belle wasn't a CA there are a few things she'd love to be, an Early Childhood Teacher, a Dance Educator or a Governess again! One thing on Belle’s bucket list is to travel around Australia in her new camper trailer with her partner.

Sophie

Get to Know Sophie... People are surprised to know that Sophie has scotish roots on her dads side, she can play the bagpipes and is a Highland Dancer. If sophie had a free weekend and all the money in the world she would fly to Hawaii and spend her time surfing and eating at beachside resturants. If Sophie’s dogs could talk they would tell her to let them chase the rabbits when she takes them on walks. If sophie could master any skill it would be to sing like a super star. One thing on sophies bucket list is to perform in The Edinburgh Military Tattoo as part of the Highland Dance team, which involves a whole month of shows performing in front of the iconic Edinburgh Castle.

Get to Know Olivia... People are often surprised to know that Olivia loves to dressing up, any occassion is a good occassion. If she had unlimited money for a day she would do a mix of a pampering and self care session before heading to a music Festival to dance the night away. If Olivia’s dog could talk he would tell her “to buy more cheese because you can never have enough cheesy treats”. Olivia would love to be able to master playing any instrument by ear. If she wasn’t a CA Olivia you would find her being a Beauty Therapist. One thing on Olivia’s bucket list is to go see the northern lights with her family.
